A young Black-faced Spoonbill, born at Guji Island near border line between South and North Korea, started south bound migration. The spoonbill left from west coast of Korea after on October 9, after 12 o'clock and arrived at east coat of China at midnight. Thus, It took only less than 12 hours to cross Yellow Sea. This is the first case of long migration among tracked birds using WT-300 GPS-Mobile Phone transmitters. The others will follow the bird in the near future.
